Plot # 24 : Light My Candle
Muse A has recently moved into a new place - a cozy apartment in a 6-story apartment building. Muse B lives across the hall and has resided in the building for the past 2 years. Apart from a few casual conversations on the walk up to their floor or brief meetings at the mailbox, Muse A and Muse B haven’t gotten the chance to get to know each other. Muse A definitely wants to see more of their neighbor though. Muse B is kind, funny, and sexy in Muse A’s eyes; Muse B’s just not very good at hinting whether or not they’re attracted to Muse A back. When the power goes out throughout the building, on a particularly warm night, Muse A quickly sets out some candles to light their home, but they realize that they don’t have any matches to light them (and their stove only works on electrical power). Seeing a bit of an opportunity there, Muse A heads over to Muse B’s apartment and asks for assistance.

//Lucky Dog is getting an English translation and the new volume of Saezuru Tori Wa Habatakanai is coming out in a few days!? Oh geez, I don’t think I can handle all this excitement. I’m going to bed before anything else happens. Night everyone! ♥
Kiryu had arrived to the room earlier in the day, simply moving his bags to his part of the room and stacking them away, only taking out the essentials for the time being. Of course, for now, that meant his phone, ear buds, and computer. He wasn’t aware of when his new roommate would arrive, and honestly it didn’t bother him. Even though he wasn’t used to sharing a room with anyone, as long as they didn’t cause any trouble for him he’d be fine.
He didn’t hear when the male walked in, obviously, due to the fact that he was laying down on the small couch with his laptop on his stomach and his headphones blurring out any other noise. However, he did notice the door open. He glanced up, pulling out one ear bud just in time to hear the male speaking. “Yeah? What is it?” he replied lazily, sitting up a bit and half way closing his computer.
⊰☁⊱— There really had to be some mistake. It wasn’t like Yukihiko was antisocial or anything, but he really liked his own space. He gave one more glance to the room umber before offering a sheepish smile to the other man, “I ah…this is room 207, but…you’re here,” The blonde pointed out, “I’m not trying to be rude or anything but…are you sure you have the right room? I was told my room was going to be a single…”
Eddie was a bit annoyed, in all honesty, with how Ashton was acting. But he guessed it shouldn’t be surprising… Either way, the teen fell silent, not having anything else to say the rest of the way to the apartment. Only when they were inside did he gesture to the couch. “Go on and lie down. It’ll take a moment for the medicine to be ready.”
⊰☮⊱— For once, Ashton didn’t argue. He grumbled something about Eddie having a nice place before he dragged himself to the couch. Whether he was being sarcastic or somewhat nice wasn’t clear, and Ashton didn’t care how Eddie took it. What mattered was that he could finally lay down ad maybe take a nap. Hopefully in a few hours this awful headache would dull.
Lust stayed as close to the blond as he could. While they were out of the more crowded area, they were still a few people with drinks and friends. If not careful, he might have bumped into one, causing a mess. Thankfully none of that happened, and the two made it to the stairs without hassle.
Golden gaze flitted up the staircase as far as he could see. Taking the railing, and flashing a grin to his partner, he began the ascent, curious for what these rooms would look like.
⊰☁⊱— A few steps up and a sharp turn to the left revealed a long row of doors. The rooms that weren’t occupied had their doors open, so thankfully they wouldn’t have to worry about barging in on anyone. “Ah…I don’t think it really matters which one we pick…” All the rooms were roughly the same, some bigger than others, but that was so the club could accommodate groups.
The blonde started to walk down the hall, his hand tracing the railway that separated them from about a ten foot drop to the dance floor. Though he tried not to think about that. Heights really were not Yuki’s favorite thing.
He paused in front of a room at the far end and peered inside—discovering that it was thankfully empty, and had more than enough room and furniture for the both of them. there wasn’t a bed that Yuki had expected, but there were a number of couches to choose from, a small stage, and even a short bar. “How about this one? It’s a little big…but there’s a bar.” He noted before shifting his eyes to Edmund
